10 Why To Be The Champion League 2010

A victory in Madrid would claim Bayern to join Liverpool as five-time European champion. So third title would pull Inter even with Barcelona and Manchester Utd on the championship list.

04. Best Coach:
They have already won Europe's most prestigious club trophy as a coach. Van Gaal victorious the 1995 title with Ajax while Mourinho captured the 2004 crown with Porto. One of them will join Ernst Happel and Ottmar Hitzfeld as the third coach to win the European Cup or Champions League title with two different clubs.

05. The Coefficients:
Italian clubs have won the European Cup/Champions League trophy 11 times and reached the final 25 times, Germans have 6 titles and 7 runners-up. This final result will impact the calculation of coefficients and rankings used for the qualification and seeding of teams for the next Champions Leauge.

Reunions #1 - Barcelona Connection:
Bayern coach Louis van Gaal meets the Inter boss Jose Mourinho. The duo worked together at Barcelona from 1997 to 2000 with the Portuguese Mourinho serving as the assistant to the Dutchman van Gaal and Pep Guardiola as a midfielder at that time. Mourinho just passed Guardiola as Barca's coach in semi final.

Reunions #2 - Real Madrid Connection:
Arjen Robben played alongside together with Wesley Sneijder at Real Madrid from 2007 to 2009, both are "the outcasts".

Reunions #3 - Dutch Connection:
Bayern playmaker Arjen Robben and Mark van Bommel would be against Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder as a fellow Dutch national team.

Reunions #4 - Champion Connection:
Inter striker Samuel Eto'o would become the first player in the Champions League era to strike a goal in three finals, he played together Bayern captain Mark van Bommel on Barcelona's 2006 Champions League winning side. With bonus info, Inter center back Lucio played with Bayern Munich from 2004 to 2009.

Three times of championship after European Cup 1963/1964
and 1964/1965. Congrats to Internazionale Milano!!

Inter deserved to win. As much as I hate Mourinho and his massive ego, he did a great job with Inter. Though it's funny that it is an Italian team with no Italian's in the line up????


Yep Zac, there's no Italian's in the starting eleven so that's why we called it .. Internationale ;o)

Then 'the special one' is landing to another wider than internationale .. Los Galacticos III!!
